Relate Wolverhampton and Dudley offers a counselling service for people who were sexually abused as children or young adults, thanks to funding and support from the Lloyds TSB foundation.
Sexual abuse is classed as 'any sexual activity or experience imposed upon a child which results in an emotional, physical or sexual trauma.'
We have counsellors who have been specially trained to work with adult survivors of sexual abuse.

Counselling can help by;
Counselling is a private and confidential form of help. This means we will not give your name or any information about you to anyone outside of Relate, unless someone's personal safety or the safety of a child is at risk.
Counselling sessions are usually once a week for an hour. You will see the same counsellor each week and your counselling will continue for as long as you and the counsellor feel it is helpful.
Relate Wolverhampton and Dudley is a registered charity which receives some financial support from Wolverhampton Council, and for Adult Survivors, the Lloyds TSB foundation.
Although each counselling session has a cost implication, each person is assessed individually. Please contact us to find out more.
We ask that you give at least 2 working days notice if you have to cancel an appointment, otherwise there will be a cancellation fee.
